I created this website in July 2015. It is independent of any organization and serves me to accompany my PhD philosophy thesis about Karl Polanyi, begun in Aix-Marseilles University (AMU) and that I will finish with Gareth Dale at Brunel University (London).
Since January 2017, I separated the site in two different parts:
- the Blog, to go along with my personal investigations (here, then)
- the Wiki, to put in line Karl Polanyi’s documents, coming from his archives, and with the hope to work on it collaboratively.
Further studies will compare Karl Polanyi with Max Weber, Friedrich Hayek or other Austrian’s thoughts.
Note that one day the website michael.polanyi.fr will appear, but it’s not schedule a the moment, even if the website is technically ready.
