How to date this letter
This letter has no date, but Karl wrote it in “Kingsview, Kingsdom, Sevenoaks, Kent”. That allows to think that he wrote it between July 1937 and July 1938. These years Ilona Duczyńska had found a house in the Kent to install her family: "In July 1937, Ilona found their rural idyll: a sunny rural little bungalow […that] was situated in a field overlooking a picturesque valley dotted with oast houses, just at the point at which Kent divided “between the ugly and the beautiful part,” but facing the latter. […] A year later they moved again. [Dale 2016, 149] Actually, we have 3 other examples of letters written between December 1937 and July 1938 with the same direction. --Santiago Pinault (talk) 09:06, 3 October 2018 (BST)
