Dear Miss Waite,

It was most agreeable surprise to me that your Institute had made inquiries about myself also with my friend Oscar Jaszi at Oberlin College. There are but few people amongst our contemporaries whom I esteem as highly as this man who would have been to Hungary what Massaryk was to Czechoslovakia, if history had not cut short his career.
