[85] Times have never swindled fake passwords faster than in the days of class rule today. “The Yellow Danger” and “the Socialist Danger” - important slogans used to disguise the cultural distortions of the armed powers to the feet - are beginning to deal thoroughly with their own dangerousness. Yellow, mocked and scary, China, the “walled in stone”, China of secrets, horrors and backwardness - gives a lot of European countries a lesson in self-awareness! And “Socialist Danger”, growing by one million voters in a single country in five years, entered parliament as the conqueror of the agrarian-clerical bloc, as the only peaceful guardian of work for the broadest sections of the population.

In Lisbon, a crowd of many thousands staged a large demonstration because of the weakness of the government's behavior towards the bishops. The protesting crowd that marched in front of the Prime Minister’s Palace, at least it was attended by thirty thousand representatives, municipal officials, freethinkers and anti-church societies. They strongly demanded that the government recall the Vatican ambassador and that the legislature declare a complete separation of state and church.

In Bavaria, Minister of Culture Wehner renewed the law against the Jesuits, which states how far the scope of Jesus ’social fathers can extend. Ä Jesuits then only silent mass they may say and give lectures on scientific or religious matters outside the church, but are prohibited from all other pastoral activities, namely, holding exercises and holding other such religious lectures in the church.

One of the lectures given to the Galilee Circle last month - in which Zsigmond Kunfi spoke about religion in the old House of Representatives - was written by Budapesti Hírlap - and although it wrote about us, this time it was true - that such a public lecture had not yet been in Budapest. One week later, for the lecture given to Oszkár Faber in the same place, such an audience gathered that this largest auditorium of the capital proved to be utterly unsuitable for its reception. Our camp is growing.

Teacher Wassermann, whose name is associated with a procedure for recognizing syphilis, recently gave word of encouraging attempts to cure tumors (including cancer). Certain compounds (eosin-selen) in the body, he was able to cure his experimental animals of a disease similar to human tumors. Although the new procedure has not yet been tried on humans, because it is still very dangerous in its current form, but there is no doubt that this difficulty will sooner or later be overcome, and with it the great enemy of human health.

A French American scientist discovered a new metal in a platinum mine. The U.S. Chemical Research Institute has found that a new metal called canadium has properties similar to platinum that can be used for all the important scientific purposes for which the very expensive platinum has been used so far. The significance of the discovery is given precisely by the fact that the new metal, when present in large quantities, will be much cheaper than other platinum metals.

Vedrines set up a new speed rickshaw on his aviator Deperdussin monoplane: he traveled 145 kilometers in an hour. Ε The importance of speed is obvious when we consider that the Hungarian high-speed trains its average speed is 70 to 80 kilometers, and the maximum speed of high-speed trains is only 120 kilometers.
